When I take that leap of faith, how will I know that I can accomplish my goals?
How do you create certainty in following-through, when you leap towards your dreams, goals, aspirations?
When you make that decision to go after your goals in life, whether it’s your health, relationships, business, or anything else that plays a significant part, it can be nerve-wracking to think about the leap of faith that will need to be drawn in order to commit to that new chapter of your self.
We know that we have the ability to start, but it’s the second part that tends to be a lot more frightening... How do we know that we’ll continue, and actually follow through on our goals until we succeed?
Hi, my name is Rich AK, and it’s taken me years of my life to understand how to take a goal, and make its progress and achievement methodical, instead of magical.
See, I was never taught how this worked or how to do it in school. That caused me to stray quite a lot in my earlier years, and caused me to run into lots of lessons along the way that finally formed my understanding for why progress in life works the way it does.
Over that time, I ended up developing a series of steps that kept me on track with my goals and progress while being able to move forward in other parts of my life that helped form a never-ending net of expansion and knowledge.
I don’t believe that the best life we can live is one where we go all-out on a single target, and ignore every other aspect of our lives. Think about the workaholics who dedicate their whole life to climb up the corporate ladder, and throw their friendships and relationships to the side in pursuit of their goal.
Now look, if that’s exactly what you want for yourself, then great, go for it. But I’m a firm believer that there’s a better way to live, a life where you can have your cake and eat it too.
I personally don’t see a life worth living where I alienate the people around me, and end up alone—nor do I think it’s a good strategy to live your life where you’re so obsessed, that you throw your physical or mental health out the window, in pursuit of something that you believe will define success, or ‘happiness’.
Believe me, I understand the other side as well. When I lock eyes with a target that I want to achieve, I become obsessed with my actions, thoughts, and methodology, until I create the results that I want to see. But wouldn’t it be better to create a system for yourself that let you progress all the other important aspects of your life at the same time?
I’d rather end up wealthy AND fit... AND surrounded by loved ones... AND full of charisma... AND grateful... AND the list goes on.
See, what you choose to make out of your life is a choice, and it’s all dependent on what you believe you can do. Wouldn’t it be easier if there was a map of how to do it in the simplest and most effective form possible?
Success is not magic, it’s methodical. It’s breaking things down to their most simplest form and building them back up... Until you can see how every piece fits together. Imagine the clarity you can gain on your movement, awareness, and thoughts if you could dissect every part of yourself and the environment around you in order to achieve the greatest results possible.
Now, please don’t think that you’ll be able to achieve any of this without putting in the effort. This is not a magic pill or an ‘easy’ button. Instead, it’s a guide, a path, for those who are ambitious enough to pursue the goals that they’ve set for themselves.
